Sorry if you were expecting some sort of political commentary. I was just passing a picture of one of the Hubbard squash we grew and finally tried cutting up. That little chunk took me and my brother and the big knife twenty minutes to cut off. I then went out and got a chisel and hammer for the rest of it. A truly monstrous squash.

Nice. Bugs got all of mine this year; definitely the best wintah squash.
How the heck do you deal with it? A saw?
Plasma torch.
Cooks it at the same time…
We have this enormous old Cut-Co knife- looks like a scimitar. Put the veg on a solid surface, like the floor, & whack the backside of the blade with a dead-blow hammer. Still a bit of a job…
Sounds suspiciously close to a hammer and chisel…
you need a kitchen chainsaw
