Sourdough Bread

Using starter that I made on Monday using beer dregs. Yeah, you heard that right. I wanted to see what happens. Pretty good bread, but the starter needs to age more to get more sour–as it is, the sourness is just a hint. Still really good bread, though.

  1. Real sourdough, or "I'm calling it sourdough because it has starter in it, but it is actually leavened by adding store-bought active yeast"?If it is the former, we need a recipe.

  2. This is a work in progress, so no recipe yet. I'm not much of a baker, either. Hmmm… maybe some store bought yeast would help lighten it up a bit–it's pretty dense…
